The alloy frameset from Merida is durable yet lightweight, with all external cable routing and plenty of mounts for racks and fenders. The bike shifts smoothly thanks to a 10 speed Shimano Tiagra drivetrain, with an FSA crankset. The Hayes CX brake calipers slow the bike down effectively, controlled by two sets of brake levers, depending what position you are riding in.
