Rivendell is a small frame builder in Northern California that makes beautiful lugged steel frames on a “build to order” basis for its customers. Their mission has been to make bikes that would not otherwise be made in a world of carbon and alloy frames, so this has been an excellent alternative to the race centric bikes mostly being produced over the last several decades. The bike is really comfortable to ride and is very versatile as you can ride it in all weather conditions and even on some gravel fire roads if that is your calling. There is a lot or clearance for larger tires (pictured with 32mm), so you have a wide range of options to suit your needs.
