Black Inc built the Water Bottle Cage around one job, keeping a bottle in place when the road stops being smooth. The arms come from full carbon fiber monocoque construction, so the grip is in the layup rather than in a spring or a clamp, and the cage holds firmly without fighting you when you reach for the bottle. Listed weight is 28 grams. The finish is unidirectional carbon under a gloss and matte clear coat, which is why it reads as part of the frame rather than as an accessory bolted onto it.

It takes a standard two-bolt bottle mount and ships with laser etched alloy bolts, so nothing on the bike has to change to run it.
