Enduro MAX 6802 Sealed Cartridge Bearing
Is the Enduro 6802 MAX the right pivot bearing for your build?
The Enduro MAX 6802 Sealed Cartridge Bearing is built specifically for the high-load, multi-directional stresses of mountain bike suspension pivots. Enduro pioneered MAX-type bearings for bicycles over twenty years ago, and the design packs the maximum number of balls into the bearing through a custom ground slot in the races, giving it 35 to 40 percent more load capacity than a standard radial bearing. Deeper race grooves add lateral support exactly where pivots need it, and full-contact double-lip LLU labyrinth seals lock out water and grit while holding a 90 percent fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease.
This is the standard ABEC-3 version in the common 15mm x 24mm x 5mm size, built with Grade 10 balls for smooth, consistent rotation under load. It is a true replacement bearing, not a headset-specific or flanged variant, so confirm your pivot uses the 6802 (15x24x5) profile before ordering. Best for riders and mechanics rebuilding full-suspension pivots who want a proven, higher-capacity bearing that outlasts the standard radial bearing it replaces.
