Garmin Rally RS110 Power Meter - Single Sensing | Shimano
Is the Garmin Rally RS110 the Right Power Meter for Shimano Road Riders?
The Garmin Rally RS110 is a single-sensing pedal-based power meter built for riders using Shimano SPD-SL road cleats who want accurate, reliable power data without replacing their entire drivetrain. Power is measured at the left pedal, and the unit transmits via ANT+ and Bluetooth to compatible Garmin cycling computers, head units, and training apps. Installation is straightforward, swapping in with standard pedal tools, and the cleats function identically to standard Shimano SPD-SL hardware so your fit and cleat position don't change.
As a single-sensing unit, the RS110 measures left-leg power and doubles it for total power output, which is accurate for consistent pedaling and a smart entry point into power-based training without the cost of dual sensing. If you already train with a Garmin computer and want to add power data, the Rally integrates seamlessly with Garmin Connect and third-party platforms including TrainingPeaks and Zwift. For riders who want to step up to dual sensing later, adding the RS210 right pedal brings full left/right power balance without replacing the entire system. Battery life runs approximately 120 hours on a single coin cell.
