Why Choose the Garmin Varia RCT715 for Cycling Safety?

The Garmin Varia RCT715 is the all-in-one cycling safety device that combines rearview radar, an integrated tail light, and a continuously recording camera in a single unit on the seatpost. The rearview radar detects approaching vehicles up to 153 yards away and sends visual and audible alerts to your compatible Garmin Edge computer, smartwatch, or the Varia app, giving you time to react before a vehicle reaches you. The integrated tail light is visible up to a mile away in daylight.

The continuous 1080p camera records your ride on a rolling loop, overwriting the oldest unsaved video when the card fills, and automatically saves footage from before, during and after a detected incident. The RCT715 works with compatible Garmin Edge cycling computers, Garmin smartwatches, the Varia app, and third-party apps including Ride with GPS. Up to 4 hours of battery in radar plus tail light solid high mode or 6 hours in day flash mode with continuous camera recording. A 16 GB card comes in the box. Pair with the Varia Vue headlight camera for front and rear footage.
