The Kryptonite New York U-Lock is the brand's highest-security U-lock, built around a 16mm MAX-Performance hardened steel shackle, the thickest in Kryptonite's lineup, engineered to resist the most aggressive cutting and prying attempts. A double deadbolt locking design engages on both sides of the shackle, eliminating flex and maximizing structural integrity under attack. The disc-style cylinder resists picking and drilling, and the compact shackle dimensions reduce the space available for leverage tools.

At 3.25 x 6 inches, the tight internal clearance limits the working room a thief can exploit, making pry-bar and jack attacks significantly harder.
