The Lake MX332 Lite is a purpose-built cross-country race shoe designed for XC racers who rarely touch the ground and need every gram optimized. To hit minimum weight, the MX332 Lite uses a carbon fiber lasting board, an ultra-lightweight Clarino microfiber upper with Outlast temperature-regulating heel and tongue liner, and a heat-moldable internal Thermaform carbon fiber heel counter for a custom, secure heel hold. Critically, the toe spike metal insert is removed. The MX332 Lite does not accept toe spikes, saving additional weight for riders who ride clean and fast. The 100% Carbon Fiber Sole (SPD compatible) with real rubber tread delivers maximum stiffness and power transfer. Two BOA Li2 Dual Dial Closures provide micro-adjustable, precise fit. Race last is slightly narrower toe box and tighter heel than the Competition last, designed for a second-skin racing fit. Available in X-Wide.
