Lake Cycling TX224 Women's - Narrow | White/Black
Lake's narrow-fit triathlon shoe for fast transitions: the TX224 Women's
The Lake TX224 is built on a simple idea, that better fit means faster transitions and better performance, and it is an industry first offered in three distinct last shapes. This Women's Narrow width uses Lake's CX/TX Race last, the slimmest of the three, with a narrower toe box and a tighter, firmer heel grip than the Competition last for a precise, locked-in race fit. Underneath sits a Lake Race 100% carbon fiber sole with replaceable heel pads for maximum power transfer at minimal weight, on a 3-bolt pattern for Look, Shimano SPD-SL, and compatible pedals.
The upper combines Clarino Microfiber with Lake's NuFoam breathable wicking shell and a Trek-Dry antimicrobial liner made from carbonized bamboo, drawing moisture out and letting air flow through for sockless comfort between transitions. Water drainage ports, a rubber toe bumper, and heel protection handle the realities of race day, while a heel-side elastic band holder lets you pre-position the shoes on your bike. A speed draw-string lace system pairs with a single hook-and-loop power strap, so you set the lace tension before the race and rely on the strap for fast, repeatable closures coming out of T1.
