What Is New About the Look KEO Grip Tri-Material Cleat?

Look redesigned the KEO Grip around three materials instead of two, and the changes target the two things riders actually complain about with cleats: creaking and walking. The front and rear grip zones are wider by a combined 2 cm, so you get real purchase on tile and pavement rather than skating across it. The bigger change is Silent Float, a low friction insert set into the rear of the cleat exactly where it meets the pedal's rear engagement lever. That is the contact point that squeaks as a cleat wears, and the insert smooths lateral movement while cutting abrasion.

Pick your float. Grey gives 4.5 degrees, the middle ground that suits most riders, with enough rotational freedom to stay comfortable over long days without feeling vague underfoot. Red gives 9 degrees, or 4.5 in each direction, and is the one to reach for if your knees complain on longer rides. Both are polyamide and TPU with 4 mm of lateral and 9 mm of longitudinal adjustment, and both fit every three bolt KEO pedal Look has made. Six screws and six washers are in the box.
