Park Tool BBT-79.3 Bottom Bracket Tool
What does the Park Tool BBT-79.3 Bottom Bracket Tool fit?
The Park Tool BBT-79.3 is a precision CNC-machined aluminum bottom bracket tool for the installation and removal of 12-notch threaded bottom brackets, including SRAM BSA DUB, Race Face Cinch, Rotor BSA30, Zipp Vuma, Hawk Racing BB3086, and others with a major diameter of 45 to 47mm and a minor diameter of 44mm. The anodized aluminum body is easy to identify in a tool drawer and features a ratchet and torque wrench-compatible 3/8-inch drive. The BBT-79.3 also includes integrated threads for full compatibility with the Park Tool BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System, which applies consistent spring-based tension to keep the tool fully seated during installation and removal.
Manufactured in-house by Park Tool, the BBT-79.3 is the shop-grade solution for modern threaded BB standards that use a 12-notch interface with the specific diameter range it covers. If your bottom bracket is not on the compatibility list, confirm the notch count and outer diameter before ordering, as different brands use different tool engagement dimensions even within the 12-notch category.
