PDW Rackstar Tail Light
Does the PDW Rackstar belong on your commuter or touring build?
The PDW Rackstar Tail Light is purpose-built for riders who use rear carrier racks, solving a problem every commuter and touring cyclist knows well: standard seatpost taillights are blocked or interfered with by seatpacks, panniers, and other seatpost accessories. The Rackstar mounts directly to the rear rack in the reflector position, keeping it visible and out of the way of your gear. The large, built-in reflector is engineered to meet strict EU standards, and the wide, rectangular lens profile makes it far more visible than compact round taillights from a side angle as well as from directly behind.
A large internal battery delivers up to 200 hours of runtime between charges, dramatically longer than most compact taillights, and charges via USB-C so it works with the same cable as your phone and other devices. A low battery warning and charging status light keep you informed without having to guess where you stand. If you run a rear rack and have ever found yourself without a good taillight option, the Rackstar is exactly what was missing.
