The Scott Gravel Tuned Shoe is built for the reality of gravel riding, where you spend most of the day clipped in but end up walking more than you planned. A nylon and carbon fiber composite outsole with a Stiffness Index of 8 puts it near road shoe territory for power transfer, stiff enough that long tempo sections do not cost you watts through a flexing sole. It stays workable enough underfoot to handle hike-a-bike sections without fighting you.

The gravel adapted tread uses Scott's Sticki Rubber compound, which is the part that separates this from a road shoe with a treadless sole, giving real grip on dirt, loose gravel, and wet rock. A synthetic polyurethane and 3D Airmesh upper keeps weight down and airflow up, with reinforced toe and heel zones taking the abuse from rocks and debris. The BOA L6 Fit System handles closure one handed with micro adjustment on the fly, and the removable ErgoLogic insole supports long days. Runs 2-bolt SPD compatible at roughly 320g in a US 8.5.
