The Shimano SM-BH59-JK-SS 2000mm is the longest standard BH59 brake hose option, designed for larger MTB frame sizes, full-suspension bikes with extended rear suspension linkages, and frames where internal hose routing travels a longer path. Using the correct hose length prevents tension at routing points, eliminates unnecessary slack inside the frame cavity, and ensures clean installation. Straight-cut ends use the standard Shimano BH59 olive and barb fitting process -- olives and barbs are not included and must be sourced separately. A complete brake bleed is required after any hose replacement.
