Silca Italian Army Knife Multitool - Nove
What is the SILCA Italian Army Knife Nove built for?
The SILCA Italian Army Knife Nove is the minimalist of the Italian Army Knife line, nine forged and double-chromed tools covering the adjustments a well-maintained bike actually needs on the road. Hex keys run 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm, joined by a T25 Torx for saddle rails and brake calipers, a Phillips #2, and a flat screwdriver, all machined to tighter tolerances than generic multitools so they seat squarely and apply real torque without rounding fasteners. The 8mm cap connects magnetically to the 5mm key to keep the package thin, and forged aluminum sidebars with rare-earth magnets hold a spare chain quick-link.
Every tool is forged rather than bent from hex stock, and fully stainless steel pivot hardware and bushings eliminate corrosion, the number one reason multitools fail. There is no chain breaker and no spoke wrenches, just the core hex range, a T25, and two screwdriver bits, which is exactly the point. At 79g it disappears in a seat bag or jersey pocket. For riders who keep their bikes dialed and ride close to home, this is the one to carry.
