Silca Pista Floor Pump - Red
What makes the SILCA Pista Floor Pump a cycling icon?
The SILCA Pista was originally designed in the 1950s when the Bianchi-Pirelli team asked for a pump compact enough to fit under the rear seat of the Fiat team car. It became a fixture of professional team cars and mechanic workstations at six-day track events around the world, and after a limited Molteni-orange run celebrating 100 years in business, SILCA made it part of the permanent lineup in a modern red livery. The durable steel barrel, classic 731 Italian leather gasket, and brass check valve make it the same pump it has always been, built to last lifetimes rather than years. The 2% accurate analog gauge and compact lathe-turned ash wood handle round out a tool that lays completely flat for easy storage.
The classic SILCA press-on chuck works with both Presta and Schrader valves, the pump is rated to 220psi, and it moves 275cc per stroke. Its compact form tucks into a trunk, duffel, or larger tool kit without taking over the space. Every component is replaceable and available individually, and SILCA still services pumps going back generations, which is the entire point of buying one. It is backed by the SILCA Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects for the life of the owner.
