Why use SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Tape for your tubeless setup?

SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Tape is a triple-ply composite built to fix the three most common rim tape failures: tearing during installation, edge lifting and overstretching under sealant, and the sticky residue that complicates service. The tape layers PET, PU, and a proprietary abrasion-resistant film, each doing a distinct job. The PET layer gives high tensile strength and dimensional stability so the tape does not deform, the PU layer adds stretch to conform to the rim bed including deep channels, and the outer abrasion-resistant film protects against punctures and wear from valve stems and tire beads. The advanced adhesive bonds securely to both carbon and alloy rim beds and then removes cleanly with no residue, which makes future service fast and mess-free.

It is rated secure and stable to 120psi (8.3 bar) and performs reliably from -20C to 60C (-4F to 140F). The tape comes in 10-meter rolls, enough to cover four 700c wheels, in 27mm and 32mm widths to match common road, gravel, and MTB rim profiles.
