SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Tape is a triple-ply composite construction that solves the three most common rim tape failure modes: tearing during installation, edge lifting under sealant, and adhesive residue that complicates service. The tape layers PET, PU, and a proprietary abrasion-resistant film, each serving a distinct function. The PET layer provides high tensile strength and dimensional stability. The PU layer adds stretch for conformity to rim bed contours including asymmetric profiles and deep channels. The outer abrasion-resistant film protects against puncture and wear from valve stems and tire beads. The advanced adhesive bonds securely to both carbon and alloy rim beds and removes cleanly without leaving sticky residue, making future service fast and mess-free.
