What does the SILCA EnduranceChip do for your hot wax?

SILCA EnduranceChip is a semi-synthetic wax blend engineered from some of the longest molecular chain lengths possible in a wax, formulated for maximum application durability. Add one chip per 250g of hot wax to permanently optimize your blend for longevity. SILCA states one EnduranceChip per 250g increases the distance between re-waxing by up to 550km, and two chips per 250g extends it to up to 750km, as much as 2.5 times the interval of unmodified Secret Chain Blend. The modified wax still runs as fast as the top wet lubricants and significantly faster than any dry lubricant, so you trade a small amount of peak speed for a much longer maintenance interval.

EnduranceChip suits training blocks, ultra-distance events, sportives, and any ride where you need the wax to hold up longer without a guaranteed window to re-wax. SILCA calls the broader approach wax optimization, and EnduranceChip can be combined with SpeedChip to build a custom blend for a specific event.
