SRAM Disc Brake Hose Kit - Black Banjo | 2000mm
What sets the SRAM Black Banjo Hose Kit apart from other banjo kits?
SRAM sells hose kits by fitting type, not by brake model, and the black banjo is the one that sits at the caliper end. That is the difference between this kit and the beveled banjo kit, which fits at the lever instead, and the silver banjo kit, which is crimped on and cannot be replaced. Get the fitting right and the rest follows. This one covers Level ULT, Level TLM (A1), Code R and RSC (B1), RED eTap HRD, and S900 Monoblock, across both road and mountain brakes.
It is a full OE replacement kit rather than just a length of hose: 2000 mm of black hose, two threaded barbs, two olives, four compression nuts, hose clips, and the T8 Torx L-key you need to seat the barbs. Two thousand millimetres is the long length, so it covers a rear line on most frames and leaves you trimming rather than coming up short. You will need proper hydraulic line cutters, because a clean square cut is what makes the olive seal.
