SRAM DUB Wide Italian Bottom Bracket - 70mm
What is the SRAM DUB Wide Italian Bottom Bracket 70mm for?
The SRAM DUB Wide Italian Bottom Bracket 70mm is designed for frames with an Italian-threaded shell (70mm width) and is for use with DUB Wide cranksets. Italian threading uses right-hand threads on both sides of the shell, the opposite of BSA, and requires a bottom bracket specifically designed for this standard. The DUB spindle's oversized design delivers the same long-lasting performance and element protection found across the DUB platform, with the Wide version providing the correct bearing position for DUB Wide crank geometry.
Italian-threaded shells are less common than BSA and are found primarily on some European-made frames. Confirm your frame uses Italian threading (not BSA) at 70mm width, and that your crankset is DUB Wide before ordering.
