How Does the SRAM Rival AXS DUB-PWR Power Meter Upgrade Work?

The SRAM Rival AXS Power Meter Upgrade puts the measurement inside the crank spindle instead of on the outside of the arm. DUB-PWR houses Quarq power measurement in the DUB spindle itself and reads left side power to calculate total watts, which is why SRAM calls it invisible technology. It adds less than 40 grams over a standard crankset. A user replaceable lithium AAA battery runs past 400 hours, so one cell covers a full season for most riders.

SRAM built this as the upgrade path for a bike already running eTap AXS, and because it is the left crank arm and spindle rather than a full crankset, the chainrings and drive side arm already on the bike stay put.
