What makes the SRAM Rival AXS E1 Front Derailleur shift so cleanly?

The SRAM Rival AXS E1 front derailleur uses Yaw cage movement, which rotates the cage as it swings outboard so the plates stay parallel to the chain instead of dragging on it. Paired with auto trim, the derailleur makes the small corrections itself and you never reach for a trim lever. The narrow cage profile is cut to match SRAM's X-Range chainrings, so the shift lands in the same place every time. It is fully wireless, so there is no cable to route or maintain.

This is the braze-on version, so it bolts to a tab on the frame. If your frame has no tab, SRAM offers clamps in 31.8 mm and 34.9 mm. It runs 46/33T, 48/35T, and 50/37T chainring combinations, fits chainstay angles from 61 to 66 degrees, and sits on a 45 mm chainline. Setup runs through the AXS app using the front derailleur setup tool included in the box. The AXS battery is sold separately, so add one if this is your first AXS component.
