What is the SRAM GXP BB86 Bottom Bracket for?

The SRAM/Truvativ GXP BB86 is a stainless steel PressFit bottom bracket for road frames with an 86.5mm BB86 shell. It's designed for use with GXP cranksets, the previous-generation SRAM spindle standard used on RED22, Force22, Rival22, and older SRAM and Truvativ MTB cranksets. The stainless steel cups provide superior corrosion resistance over alloy options, and the PressFit design presses directly into the frame without threading, saving weight and simplifying installation.

BB86 is a common road frame shell specification. If your road frame uses BB86 and your cranks are GXP, this is the correct bottom bracket. Confirm your frame shell specification and crankset spindle standard before ordering. GXP is not interchangeable with DUB.
