Wahoo KICKR BIKE PRO Smart Bike
How does the Wahoo KICKR BIKE PRO compare to a smart trainer?
The Wahoo KICKR BIKE PRO Smart Bike goes further than a smart trainer because the whole bike moves, tilting up to 20% on climbs and down to -15% on descents so your body position shifts the way it does on the road. It stays set up and ready, so you clip in and ride. Resistance comes from an electromagnetic and enhanced motor good for 2,500 watts at +/- 1% accuracy. KICKR Race Mode streams power data up to 10x faster, which matters when a virtual race goes hard off the front.
Programmable virtual shifting on the redesigned bars mirrors SRAM, Shimano, or Campagnolo shifters, and you set the number of speeds and cassette tooth counts to match your outdoor bike. Fit adjusts at five points (stack, reach, setback, saddle height, and frame height) with crank lengths from 165 to 175mm, and it fits riders from 5 ft 0 in to 6 ft 4 in up to 250 lb. It comes with a Fizik Aliante saddle and Solocush bar tape, and the integrated KICKR BRIDGE relays your heart rate strap and other sensors over Wi-Fi. Pedals are not included, so bring your own or pair it with the Wahoo Speedplay pedals we carry at the lab. It is built for the rider who trains indoors all winter and wants a setup that feels like their road bike.
