Our most performance orientated saddle, the Belcarra V 1.5 is part of our V-Concept saddle program which was developed for the more flexible rider, particularly in the pelvis and lumbar spine, who tend to ride a more aggressive aero position. Their shape on the bike is similar to a V, hence the name. These riders sit towards the front of the saddle supported by their pubic rami. The riding position is lower in general and requires a slightly different shaped saddle. The 1.5 features our hollow titanium rails for the a comfortable yet lightweight ride.

To create a shape for truly comfortable high-performance long rides, we made the strong, light shell from three separate sections: a carbon reinforced nylon spine co-injected with two very flexible, strong panels made from a thermoplastic elastomer. We built the Luce Carbon on narrow carbon Mobius rail construction, accommodating a specially designed elongated pressure relief cut out, offering a combination of flexible support – called IschialFlex - under the sit-bones and comfortable freedom for the rider’s soft tissues. This unique shape that provides a perfect profile for female cyclists and maintains structural stability over time.

Tempo Argo R5 is a versatile bike saddle for endurance racing with a combination of a ride-compliant carbon-reinforced nylon shell and S-Alloy rails. Where a traditional saddle shape encourages riders to shift their position frequently for better leverage, Argo puts the rider in a more planted position, making for greater stability and better weight distribution. It also features an ergonomic cutout that was developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts.
The padding is made from fizik’s proprietary Type 2 foam formulation, slightly thicker around the ischial sit bones area to support a more upright riding posture. The cushioning is slightly softer and more progressive than the type we use on our racing saddles, providing more long-distance comfort.
