A redesigned internal frame gives the wearer greater safety. Seamless technology joins the lower and upper parts of the shell to give it a refined, elegant look and improved aerodynamics. The new OCTOFIT+ adjustment system optimizes the helmet’s comfort and stability, while a vertical stabilizer across the nape of the neck provides ergonomic neck support and delivers enhanced balance and a customized fit. Its large rotation cap coated in a special rubber increases finger grip, and a reflective insert in the rear helps keep the helmet’s wearer even safer. The internal lining is made of CoolMax® fabric which, as well as being comfortable and quick-drying, is also removable and washable. As is standard with all KASK helmets, the Protone Icon has been developed in accordance with the KASK ROTATIONAL IMPACT WG11 TEST protocol, an objective, scientific approach to measuring the helmet’s performance against rotational impacts.

AERO-CONTROL: The Protone Icon helmet is an incredibly aerodynamic road cycling helmet designed with speed, safety, comfort, and advanced performance at the forefront, ideal for cyclocross, XC Marathons and road cycling.

ADVANCED SAFETY & PROTECTION: Redesigned internal frame and vertical stabilizer across the nape of the neck provide enhanced safety. Rotational Impact WG11 approved, the invisible layer of protection far exceeds international norms and surpasses the highest safety performance standards against rotational impacts.

MAXIMUM VENTILATION: Experience thermal comfort from enhanced inner padding fibers that work to speed up the evaporation process of perspiration and slow down the formation of humidity on the skin to ensure optimal temperature regulation. The outflow of air is perfectly in line with the helmet no matter the head position. Removable, washable inner padding.

COMFORT OCTO FIT: The Utopia Y sports an “Octo” rubberized micro dial adjuster that provides easy mid-ride adjustments, while its contact points with gel pads prove to further enhance comfort. The Protone Icon’s helmet supports oscillate freely through 180 degrees, which makes achieving a perfect fit a refreshingly straightforward process.

The Protone weighs just 215g and uses a 3D Dry padding with a multi-layer open cell construction process to give a more comfortable ride. It has removable and washable inner padding, made from CoolMax® fabrics and its inner padding fabric has been treated using the Sanitized® antimicrobial process. KASK has also continued to use its Multi In-Moulding Technology to create a polycarbonate cover for the top, base ring and the back of the helmet’s shell. This is joined to the inner polystyrene cap via KASK’s In-Moulding Technology to improve the shell’s shock absorption. Its strengthened frame further reduces the risk of a shock breaking the shell. With just 215g of weight, Protone has the lowest drag and the fastest heat dissipation coefficients compared to any other ventilated helmet. Thanks to several ventilation holes and a thick padding material, heat and moisture are dissipated very fast, improving comfort and performance without giving up on safety: the top area is reinforced with an internal plastic sub-structure that increases crash protection. The Wasabi is a high-performance cycling helmet designed for all seasons. What’s more, the Merino wool lining makes sure you stay at the right temperature. The Wasabi ensures temperature regulation like no other helmet thanks to its adjustable airflow system. With the push of a finger, a centralized vent can be opened when conditions heat up or closed when they cool down for a 1.5°C internal temperature increase when riding at the same speed. Wind tunnel testing confirmed that less than one watt was lost between an open and closed vent when riding at a speed of 50 km/h.
