SiS Beta Fuel Chew is a game changing chew.
Made with a 1:0.8 Maltodextrin:Fructose ratio, they provide 45g of carbohydrates. Yes – in a CHEW! The science behind this new ratio is genius. If you haven’t taken a guess yet, it is actually formulated to reduce symptoms of stomach fullness and stomach upset, like most of their products.
On top of that, this chew provides 30-50% more carbohydrates than any other sports chew. They’re not like what you’re probably used to, these come in two big blocks so it’s easier to keep track and fuel during your workouts.
This 1:0.8 ratio replaces the previous 2:1 ratio:
- A 1:0.8 ratio of maltodextrin to fructose increases the percentage of ingested carbohydrate that is oxidized (known as efficiency) from 62% to 74% when compared with a ratio of 2:1
- A 1:0.8 ratio of maltodextrin to fructose reduces self-reported symptoms of stomach fullness when compared with a ratio of 2:1
