Oogie Boogie Poker Ride

The Oogie Boogie will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 – Date Subject to Change 

Here are the basics on the Oogie Boogie Poker Ride:  This ride will appeal to both the recreational rider and you more competitive speedsters out there.  Ride to 7 checkpoints throughout the Camas / Vancouver / Washougal area. Choose a card at each checkpoint. The best 5 card poker hands win great prizes.  We will have a Strava Hill Climb Challenge, fastest finisher award, and best costume award for those of you who like to get into the spirit of Halloween!  We will wrap things up with a celebration after the ride featuring lunch, beverages, and a raffle drawing. Yep, we will also be holding a raffle for some great prizes, so buy tickets… they go to help the cause too!  Stay tuned for more details as we continue to work on the event… this is going to be a fun one!

Who benefits from the Oogie Boogie Poker Ride?  Well, we’re glad you asked.  All of the net proceeds go to buy bikes and helmets for less fortunate kids in our immediate area.  That’s right, they stay right here in our local communities!  This will also help us with our goal of building the cycling community one rider at a time by getting the future of cycling on bikes today.    Remember that feeling of liberation and freedom when you got your first bike?  How about that smile your bike still puts on your face every time you go for a ride?  Let’s give that to a bunch of kids this Christmas!
