ZACHARY BERKOMPAS
ABOUT:
Zachary is 21 years old and a native Washingtonian. He is a Christian, avid cyclist, and lover of the outdoors. Zach is part of a large family with Dad, Mom, and 12 siblings. He comes in right in the middle as #7. And, yes, they actually all get along and it was a conscious decision on his parent’s part ;). His Dad got his boys into cycling ever since they were very young. Zach started riding when he was 5 and took to it immediately. It wasn’t long before he had his first road bike around 13 and he road his first century (the RACC) at 15. Since then, he has continued to ride, even though life has been busy. He enjoyed an amazing trip to France last summer (2017), where he enjoyed riding through the French/Swiss Alps on an epic 350 mile 50,000’+ week of riding with his Dad and four of his brothers.
Zach enjoys other outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, hiking, and volleyball. He studies new technologies, likes reading, and hanging out with his family either cycling or one of the activities above.
In his professional career as a software engineer, he currently works at https://infinite.red. He works with a variety of clients, helping them accomplish their goals through web & mobile applications.
