This 1986 Bianchi Pista Steel Track Bike is a pure track bike with flip-flop hubs, was designed for simplicity, and can for sure be used for some fun road riding. This bike suits someone who appreciates classic steel frames, enjoys the option of riding fixed gear for fun, likes the ease of a singlespeed, or wants a vintage bike with character not found in modern carbon bikes. The track-ends and horizontal dropouts make chain tensioning easy for fixed / single speed setups or for adjusting gear ratios. As a mid-1980s Italian-made bike, It’s a slice of cycling history and offers a level of authenticity that you just don't see in many bikes these days. The bike has for sure been ridden, so it does show signs of wear and use over its lifetime. However, this adds to the charm of the bike while giving you the green light to ride and enjoy it and not just stare it.
