The SRAM AXS Battery Charger makes charging as fast as the swap itself — flip the tool-free battery latch, slide the battery out of the derailleur, snap it into the charger, and plug into any USB power source or AC-to-USB adapter. The magnetic connection locks the battery securely in the charger and a full charge completes in up to 60 minutes. An LED indicator tells you charge status at a glance so you are not guessing whether a battery is ready to go before a ride.

Can I charge the battery without removing it from the derailleur?

No. The AXS battery must be removed from the derailleur or seatpost and snapped into this charger to charge. The tool-free latch makes removal fast, but the battery is not charged in-place. If in-place charging capability is a priority, consider carrying a spare battery for quick swaps during longer multi-day events.
