SILCA Ultimate Tubeless Sealant does what standard latex sealants can't: it seals holes up to 7.5mm, roughly 25% larger than conventional alternatives. The formula combines a unique foaming latex base with chopped recycled carbon fiber (6mm, 9mm, and 12mm strands reclaimed from bicycle frames, carbon wheels, racecars, and aircraft components) suspended evenly throughout the liquid. When a puncture occurs, the sealant flow carries carbon fiber directly to the hole, where thousands of micro-bubbles collapse and deposit fibers over the gap, forming a carbon dam that seals larger cuts that latex alone cannot handle.
