2019 Felt Doctrine 3
This 2019 Felt Doctrine 3 is a carbon cross country hardtail built to go fast and climb like it weighs nothing. It is a size Large, which Felt lists as an 18 inch frame. The Doctrine was Felt's race hardtail, a light UHC Advanced carbon frame with modern Boost spacing and room for real cross country speed. It has been treated well and is in excellent shape.
It also carries a smart set of upgrades. The RockShox Reverb AXS wireless dropper drops the seat out of the way for a descent and lifts it back for the next climb at the push of a button. The Roval wheels are light and stiff, so the bike jumps when you put the power down and holds speed once you are rolling. It also has an ENVE handlebar, a Niner RDO carbon stem, and Vittoria Mezcal tires, all quality picks that round out the build.
The rest is honest race hardtail. A RockShox Reba fork gives you 100mm of travel with a bar mounted lockout for the climbs. The SRAM GX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain has a wide 10 to 50 range for everything from steep pitches to fire road sprints. Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes handle the stopping. It is a light, quick, well sorted bike, ready for its next rider to point it at a trail and let it run.
