FAQ
What is the Factor ONE built for?
The Factor ONE is Factor's flagship aero road race platform, built to be the fastest UCI-legal road bike the brand has produced. It is designed for the modern race position, with geometry that supports a forward saddle, shorter cranks, and narrow bars while keeping handling stable at high speed. This build races on SRAM RED eTap AXS with a power meter and Black Inc SIXTY TWO carbon wheels.
Is this bike compatible with mechanical drivetrains?
No. The ONE is designed exclusively for electronic groupsets. The fully internal routing and integrated cockpit do not accommodate mechanical shift cables. This build uses SRAM RED eTap AXS wireless shifting.
What is the maximum tire clearance?
Factor rates the ONE frame and fork for up to 34mm measured tire width, based on a 28mm nominal tire on a 23mm internal-width rim.
How does the ONE cockpit work without a stem?
The ONE uses an integrated barstem system numbered 1 through 5 that maps to stem equivalents of 110 through 150mm, with high-rise options adding 20mm of stack. All handlebars are 380mm wide. Up to 15mm of spacers plus the rise options give a 35mm shifter stack range, letting a fitter dial in reach without an unstable long stem.
Can I customize this build?
Yes. This bike is in stock as built in size 56, and the whole build is fully customizable. Crank length, seatpost setback, barstem size, cassette ratios, and wheel choice can be adjusted to dial in your fit. Reach out to the shop to discuss options and other sizes.
