FAQ

Will these fit my existing KEO pedals?

Yes. KEO Grip cleats fit every three bolt KEO pedal Look makes, from the Classic 3 up to the Blade Power. They do not fit the older Delta standard.

Should I choose grey or red?

Grey gives 4.5 degrees of total float and is the middle option most riders get on with. Red gives 9 degrees, or 4.5 in each direction, for maximum freedom and less stress on the knees. Look also makes a black 0 degree cleat for a fixed position, which we do not stock.

What is Silent Float?

Silent Float is a low friction insert at the rear of the cleat, right where it contacts the pedal's rear engagement lever. It smooths lateral movement, slows wear at that contact point, and cuts down on creaking.

Is more float better?

It depends on your knees more than your speed. More float lets your foot track naturally through the stroke, which many riders find easier on the joints. If you want a precise, fixed platform, go with the 4.5 degree grey.

Do the screws come with them?

Yes. Six screws at 5 x 9 mm and six washers come in the box.

How is this different from the older KEO Grip cleat?

The tri-material version widens the front and rear grip zones by a combined 2 cm and adds the Silent Float insert. Both changes target walking traction and cleat life.
