The Shimano EW-SD300 is the slimmer, dedicated internal routing wire for current-generation 12-speed Di2 systems, with the 1200mm length suited for longer routing runs -- typically front derailleur to battery connections, full-suspension frame linkages, or any routing path that exceeds what the 650mm version can reach. The EW-SD300 uses a smaller diameter connector than the older EW-SD50, designed for internal routing through the tight channels in modern carbon road and gravel frames.
