FAQ

Can I upgrade to the HIRO chuck?

Yes. The Pista Plus chuck dock accepts the SILCA HIRO locking-lever chuck and disc wheel adapter, both sold separately. The standard Schradero chuck handles everyday Presta and Schrader inflation.

Why does the gauge only read to 120psi if the pump goes to 220psi?

The 2% accurate gauge is calibrated for the 0-120psi range where most road and gravel tire pressures sit. The pump barrel can physically achieve higher pressures, but the gauge accuracy is rated to 120psi. If you regularly inflate above 120psi, consider the Superpista Digital which has a 220psi-rated digital gauge.

Are replacement parts available?

Yes. Every component including the leather gasket, hose, chuck, and gauge is available individually from SILCA. The Pista Plus is designed to be maintained over decades, not discarded.
