For almost 30 years, I used Speedplay Zero pedals and cleats. After the acquisition of Speedplay by Wahoo in 2021 my personal experience is that the quality of the cleats and cleat covers has deteriorated. I believe that the cleats now collect more dirt than ever. I bought the round yellow cleat covers but would generally loose one or more cleat covers a month. After doing some research with my sons and fellow club riders, my options were narrowed down to Shimano SPD SL or Look Keo. I opted for SPD SL and am extremely pleased with the purchase from Dialed Cycling Lab. From a transactional perspective, web content, price point, shipping cost, shipping time were all very good. I will be looking to them in the future.
