The Addict RC is Scott's light road race bike. The Addict Gravel is a carbon gravel bike with performance geometry. The Speedster Gravel is an aluminum gravel bike with a carbon fork and more comfortable geometry for all-day rides, at a lower price.

Scott lists 45mm tire clearance for the Addict Gravel. The Addict Gravel Team HMF frameset we stock clears 45mm tires, or 40mm with the hidden Syncros fender mounts in use.

Syncros is Scott's component brand. It started in 1986 on the North Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Scott acquired it in 2012. Many Scott bikes come with Syncros cockpits, wheels, seatposts, and saddles.

It depends on your cockpit. Out-front iC mounts bolt into the threaded inserts on Syncros iC cockpits, and top cap mounts replace the cap on DC and XC cockpits. Match the mount to your cockpit model, or send us a message with a photo of your cockpit and we will tell you which one fits.

Yes. Syncros mounts ship with a Garmin-style fitting, so you need the Syncros Wahoo Computer Insert to run a Wahoo. We stock it.

Scott Addict road frames use the Scott Addict dropout, which comes in one size for every Addict frame size. Scale, Spark, Genius, Contessa, and Big Ed frames built on the IDS 2 dropout system use the IDS 2 142/RWS12 hanger. Compare the new hanger with your old one before you install it.

Scott's warranty covers frames and rear ends for the first owner of a bike bought from an authorized Scott dealer, and excludes normal wear and crash damage. Components are not covered by Scott's frame warranty. Register the bike within a year to get five years of frame coverage instead of three.

Yes, if you want the longer warranty. Registering at scott-sports.com within a year of purchase adds two years, for five in total. Scott's policy also asks for a yearly service at an authorized Scott dealer, and keep your receipt as proof you are the original owner.
