Matt LeGrand
Triathlete, software developer, and the resident sports-tech nerd of the Dialed Podcast.

What's up, ladies and gentlemen of the internet? That is how Matt LeGrand opens just about every video, and odds are he is about to tell you whether some new GPS watch, power meter, or training gadget is actually worth your money. He is the resident sports tech nerd of the Dialed Podcast, and his YouTube channel has become a go-to for honest, no nonsense takes on cycling and triathlon gear.
His athletic roots run deep. Matt fell in love with running in seventh grade in Huntsville, Alabama, and went on to win three state championships before racing Division 1 cross country and track at the University of Richmond. He later earned a Master's in marketing at the University of Alabama and qualified for the NCAA Cross Country Championships along the way.
When a doctor told him to take a break from running, Matt refused to sit still. He bought a bike, joined a swim club, and got hooked on triathlon. Three Ironman finishes later, he is still swimming, biking, and running all over the Pacific Northwest. A self taught programmer by trade, he settled in Camas, Washington with his wife and three boys, and even started a free open water swim series and a weekly run group to get more people into the sport.
If there is a new GPS watch worth knowing about, Matt has already tested it.
