This 2023 Pursuit Pure is a 54cm custom carbon road bike, and it is something special. Pursuit was a small builder in Bozeman, Montana that hand-made every frame to order. They tuned the carbon layup and the geometry to the individual rider. This one was built with a slightly taller front end than a typical race bike. That gives a more comfortable position without giving up the sharp, planted handling the Pure is known for. The frame is in excellent shape with about 300 miles on it, and it honestly looks like it has never been ridden.
The build matches the frame. It has a full Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset, so shifting is fast, precise, and electronic. The Zipp 303 Firecrest carbon wheels are light and quick, set up tubeless with fresh Continental GP5000 tires. The cockpit is a full ENVE bar and stem on a Chris King headset. A 54cm Pursuit Pure fits most riders between about 5'7" and 5'10" (170 to 178 cm). This frame was custom built with a taller head tube than a typical road bike its size, so the front end sits a bit higher. That gives you a more comfortable, less aggressive position while keeping the quick, planted handling of a real road race bike.
