What Makes PNW Loam Grips the Go-To for MTB Riders?
The PNW Components Loam Grips have built a loyal following by packing a lot into a simple lock-on grip: an ultra-tacky compound, an ergonomic pattern that supports the pad of your hand, and water shedding fins that help absorb vibration. The ultra-tacky compound provides great traction even when wet without leaving residue on your hands, and it is soft enough to absorb vibration while firm enough to keep its shape under pressure.
The Regular size has an average diameter of 30mm, the slimmer of the two Loam sizes. Available in nine colorways that span from blacked-out to full fruit salad, the Loam Grips are one of the easiest ways to add personality to your cockpit without redesigning the whole bike. An ergonomic pattern runs horizontally across the surface to enhance traction, while a thicker mountain pattern supports the pad of your hand. Each grip locks on with a single clamp and a closed end, and they are sold in pairs. The Loam Grip XL is also available for riders who prefer a larger 34mm grip.

The Regular has an average diameter of 30mm and weighs 90g per pair. The XL has an average diameter of 34mm and weighs 120g per pair. Both are 133.5mm long and use the same compound and single clamp design.
Do the Loam Grips hold up in wet conditions?
Yes. The compound provides great traction even when wet and will not leave residue on your hands, and the fins are shaped to let water wick away on rainy day rides.
Are the Loam Grips compatible with standard MTB handlebars?
The Loam Grips fit almost all mountain bike and flat handlebars with the standard 22.2mm grip end, including bars with a 31.8mm or 35mm center clamp.
Is there a left and right grip?
Yes. Install them with the clamp bolts toward the rear of the bike so they are easy to reach when adjusting.
