Our fastest gravel tire is our toughest, most versatile road tire - race it hard or just head off the beaten path. The Strada Bianca combines Challenge's proven herringbone tread pattern with larger volumes to take you comfortably over less-than-perfect surfaces. This is the tire for rough roads, packed dirt and most dry gravel surfaces.
This handmade PRO version combines a supple Super Polyester casing with our durable SmartPlus Compound.
This Challenge TLR model is hookless rim compatible (33C and larger).
CONSTRUCTION: Handmade
Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires can't match. Our handmade tires are assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople. High quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester. The result is a small-batch tire with a ride feel that is simply on a different level.

Everyday Luxury - Our workhorse handmade tire is the PRO series, delivering performance and ride feel unmatched by traditional vulcanized tires. Perfect for the rigors of daily riding.
CASING: Super Polyester 260TPI
Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220-300tpi make up our most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger then nylon, is impervious to water and quite durable.
COMPOUND: SMARTplus
A tougher and more cut-resistant rubber compound for the demands of gravel and rough terrain. SMARTplus wears longer to keep tread edges sharper, improving confidence over mixed surfaces.
PUNCTURE PROTECTION: PPS2
Our tires designed for use on rough roads, cobbles and gravel are built with an additional layer of PPS (PPS2) on the inside of the casing.
