The Continental Cross King Tire in 24 x 2.00 puts a genuine cross-country tread on a 24 inch wheel, which is the size most junior and kids mountain bikes run. ETRTO is 50-507, so it seats on a 507mm rim rather than the 520 or 540 sizes a few older 24 inch bikes use. The open block tread rolls fast on hardpack and bites in loose corners. The wire bead Performance build uses Continental's PureGrip compound and a 180 TPI honeycomb sidewall casing.
The honeycomb sidewall adds puncture resistance without stiffening the casing, and the E25 rating means Continental approves it for e-bikes with pedal assist up to 25 km/h, which matters on a junior e-MTB. It is a tube-type clincher rather than tubeless ready, so plan on running an inner tube. If your kid is wearing out the tires the bike came with and you want something that actually holds a line, this is a real tire in a size the market usually treats as an afterthought.

The 50-507 ETRTO size fits 24 inch mountain bike wheels, which is the standard on most junior and kids mountain bikes and on some small-frame adult bikes. Check the number printed on your current tire first, because a few older 24 inch bikes use 520 or 540 bead seats and those take a different tire entirely.
Is the Cross King 24 x 2.00 tubeless ready?
No. This is the wire bead Performance version, built tube-type. It needs an inner tube and is not designed for a tubeless setup.
Is the Continental Cross King e-bike rated?
Yes. The Cross King carries Continental's E25 rating, which approves it for e-bikes with pedal assist up to 25 km/h.
What compound does the wire bead Cross King use?
