The Continental Grand Prix 5000 is the tire that redefined the road cycling benchmark. BlackChili Compound delivers the ideal balance of grip, rolling resistance, and mileage by combining synthetic and natural rubbers with specially developed carbon black particles that provide exceptional performance across road, gravel, time trials, and every condition in between. A Vectran Breaker protects against cuts with a puncture-resistant layer that's more cut-resistant than aramid and five times stronger than steel, without adding rolling resistance. Lazer Grip micro-tread on the shoulders provides outstanding cornering traction, and Active Comfort Technology absorbs vibrations for a smoother ride. Available in clincher with inner tube, the original GP5000 format.
