LLU seals face outward to provide maximum protection against mud, water, and fine debris, while the cage-free ball configuration delivers significantly higher load capacity than a standard radial bearing of the same dimensions. It is designed for pivot locations that see the most abuse on a full-suspension bike.
The 15mm x 28mm x 7mm profile is a direct fit for any application that specifies a standard 6902, making it an effortless upgrade over a stock replacement bearing. Is the Max-E 6902 a direct replacement for my stock pivot bearing?
Yes. The 15x28x7mm dimensions match the standard 6902 footprint, so the Max-E drops directly into any frame position that currently uses a standard 6902 bearing, with no modification needed.
Can I mix Max-E bearings with standard Max bearings in the same pivot system?
Technically yes, since the dimensions are the same, but for consistency it is best to use matched bearings throughout a single pivot position. If you are replacing one bearing in a pivot set, replace all bearings in that position at the same time.
