Which ENVE Handlebar Tape color is right for your build?
The ENVE Handlebar Tape comes in Black, Gray, and White, and the tape underneath is identical in all three. Science of the grip is where ENVE spent the effort: a compound engineered to hold bare-handed traction in the wet, which is the point where most premium tape turns slick, and a silicone-backed construction that stretches cleanly through installation instead of tearing where you pull hardest. At 3mm thick it damps road buzz without muting the feedback you ride by, and a vibration damping backer strip carries the comfort across broken pavement and gravel.
Color is the only real decision. Black hides everything and asks nothing of you. White finishes a light or classic build sharper than anything else, but shows chain grease and road grime faster, so it suits riders who wipe their bars down now and then.
