Overview

The premium HR monitor with standalone recording, running dynamics, and swim HR.

The Garmin HRM 600 is Garmin's premium heart rate monitor, built for data-driven performance athletes who want accurate heart rate and HRV data plus running dynamics. During activities where you can't wear a watch, such as team sports or martial arts, it records your workout and syncs data, including heart rate, calories, speed and distance, directly to the Garmin Connect app. Running dynamics include step speed loss, vertical oscillation, and ground contact time and balance (requires a compatible smartwatch; step speed loss is available only on select smartwatches). During swim activities it stores your heart rate data and forwards it to your compatible smartwatch when your activity is saved. Its rechargeable battery is rated up to 2 months at 1 hour per day, with a 5 ATM water rating.

Available in two strap sizes (XS-S and M-XL). Module is removable and the strap is machine washable. ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity.

Does the HRM 600 record data without a paired watch?

Yes. During activities where you can't wear a watch, such as team sports or martial arts, the HRM 600 records your workout and syncs data, including heart rate, calories, speed and distance, directly to the Garmin Connect app. Activity recording is controlled from the Garmin Connect app.

What running dynamics does the HRM 600 provide?

The HRM 600 provides step speed loss, which shows how much you slow down when your foot hits the ground, plus vertical oscillation and ground contact time and balance. Running dynamics require a compatible smartwatch, and step speed loss is available only on select smartwatches.

What is the difference between the HRM 600 and HRM 200?

The HRM 200 uses a user-replaceable CR2032 battery rated up to 12 months at 1 hour per day and sends heart rate and HRV data. The HRM 600 adds activity recording without a watch, swim heart rate storage, running dynamics with a compatible smartwatch, and a rechargeable battery rated up to 2 months at 1 hour per day.
