What Do You Get in the Muc-Off 10m Rim Tape Roll?
Muc-Off calls its Tubeless Rim Tape the first place to start when moving over to tubeless. The 10m roll allows for 4 applications and comes with 4 seal patches. The pressure-sensitive adhesive creates an airtight seal, and the semi-transparent tape makes the valve hole easy to find.
Choose the width that matches your rim's internal width. Muc-Off offers the tape in 6 widths to suit most road, CX, gravel, MTB and plus-sized rims. The tape is made from Muc-Off's own proprietary performance material, engineered to stretch into the contour of your rim while keeping the strength and durability needed for a lasting airtight seal.

Match the tape to your rim's internal width, measured wall to wall. If your rim falls between sizes, go up to the next size. As a general guide, Muc-Off lists 17 and 21mm for road and gravel, 25mm for XC and trail, 28 and 30mm for DH and enduro, and 35mm for wide DH and enduro rims.
How many wheels does a 10m roll cover?
Muc-Off says a 10m roll allows for 4 applications. Plan on overlapping the tape by about 10 to 15cm on each rim.
Do I need to clean the rim before taping?
Yes. Muc-Off recommends cleaning the rim with its Glue & Sealant Remover to get rid of any residue from a previous setup, and making sure the rim is clean and dry before you apply the tape.
