Muc-Off rates its 10m roll for 4 applications, and this 50m roll holds five times the tape. Your exact count depends on your rims and your overlap; Muc-Off suggests overlapping the tape by about 10 to 15cm.
Is 25mm the right width for my rims?
Match the tape to your rim's internal width, measured wall to wall. If your rim falls between sizes, go up to the next size. Muc-Off's general guide puts 25mm tape on XC and trail rims.
Do I need to clean the rim before taping?
Yes. Muc-Off recommends cleaning the rim with its Glue & Sealant Remover to get rid of any residue from a previous setup, and making sure the rim is clean and dry before you apply the tape.
